Danish-born saxophonist Michael Lington relocated to the US at 21, and was soon playing with greats Little Richard, Randy Crawford & Bobby Caldwell. Lington segued into a distinguished recording career of his own, currently having 6 albums & 11 Radio&Records® hits to his name.

Lington is a global touring presence and has performed for the Danish Royal Family. He is nominated for the 2009 Canadian Smooth Jazz ‘International Instrumentalist of the Year’ award. Michael Lington is an 11-year Recording Academy voting member, an active fundraiser for Mr. Holland’s Opus and the Grammy® Foundation, and also runs his own cigar company.
